There's plenty to do in town and nearby all weekend. Paddle the river, shop The Village, take a vintage train ride or find the zip lines. Pack a lunch and find a stream side spot for an old fashioned picnic. For evening, we have plenty of places to dine- from candlelit tables overlooking the St. Croix River, to pubs with outdoor patios to homestyle eateries.  Come nightfall, take a romantic walk down to Cascade Falls and take in the amazing changing colored light dancing on the waters . For romantic B& Bs, start here.

Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Tour

Picture
Osceola is located in the heart of an area becoming known for its wineries.  From fruit wines and ciders to locally-made artisan cheeses and chocolates, the St Croix River Valley self-guided Wine, Cheese(you're in Wisconsin for heaven's sakes) and Chocolate Tour will treat your taste buds to a realm of culinary delights. If you would like to taste quality wines, learn about the expanding wine industry in the area, and the distinct wines made from local grape varieties most of which have roots right here in Osceola, head out on a tour. We're especially fond of our very own Dancing Dragonfly Winery that specializes in making wine from local grapes.

To start the tour, choose your own culinary itinerary.Visit the wineries and cheese makers in any order to suit your fancy. These wine, cheese and chocolate locations provide the chance to try out just one or two of the destinations each located within a 20 minute drive of Osceola.  Or plan for a day tour and taste a collage of wine styles from four different wineries including two cheese makers and one fine chocolatier- see all in 120 miles with only 2 hours of drive time.
