Osceola Overview
Osceola is a small village community of 3,000 serving the local area of 10,000. The community of Osceola boasts a beautiful balance of recreation, tourism, business, agriculture and industry that supports high standards in quality of life. Osceola's charming walk-able downtown is on the National Register of Historic Places and provides outstanding examples of late 19th and early 20th century architecture. Hiking trails and waterfalls, train rides, a community art and theater center, active Library, Farmer's Market, special events like Rhubarb Days and Wheels and Wings...all these provide a rich tapestry of cultural opportunities. Osceola is located on the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota just 40 miles from the Twin Cities metropolitan area on the banks of the St. Croix River. Despite its small size, Osceola has a well-balanced and growing residential population and a mix of local and regional employers who support over 3,000 jobs.
