Where the Locals Eat
The best way to visit Osceola like a true Osceolean is to take a few tips from the people who know the area best! For a small town, Osceola has quite a variety of restaurant choices — from fresh from the oven breakfast pastries to juicy hamburgers —farm to table and made from scratch soups and pie. Start your day with a local favorite- breakfast at the Watershed Cafe- they focus on local food and the back deck puts you right above the rushing sounds of Geiger Falls. Before you head out to the river, grab a quick made to order sub at BP, or pop into the deli @ Dick’s Fresh Market. While you stroll around town later in the afternoon, enjoy an old fashioned ice cream at The Looking Glass or a latte @ Caribou Coffee. In the evening, head to PYs back patio where you can enjoy their famous burgers and fries while you view the illuminated Cascade Falls. Warm up around a fire while you catch a game at The Lanes back patio. Tippy Canoes's is known for a tasty ahi tuna plate and great music. Bring Back the Picnic
Osceola restaurants and outdoor patios are only half the fun; no Osceola visit is complete without an old fashioned picnic. What better way to enjoy food, family and friends. With some of the best picnic spots in the valley to choose from , Osceola is becoming a picnic haven. The area's abundant natural playgrounds and parks like Osceola Landing offer so many options to experience a whole new culinary atmosphere- from gurgling streams to butterfly gardens to sparkling waterfalls. So grab a pizza at the Pizza Cellar or the Cascade Bar and Grill, a quick sub at the BP or some local cheese and wine at Valley Spirits.. Enjoy the outdoor ambiance with the beauty of natural surroundings of Osceola. |
