1. Enjoy an ice cream cone @ The Looking Glass
The new Looking Glass(formerly Osceola Antiques) has an old fashioned ice cream parlor and there are 8 flavors to choose from. Next summer 16 flavors will be coming to town.

2. Zipline @ Trollhaugen’s Adventure Park
One of the top in the nation Zip Line and Adventure Parks is right in our back yard. Trollhaugen’s new Adventure Park features the thrill of 6 ziplines and a giant floating playground. It's like climbing trees, hanging from tires, and swinging on ropes just like when you were a kid, on a far bigger scale.

3. Get out on the River
The St Croix River is one of the most popular and scenic paddling rivers in the Upper Midwest. Paddlers can enjoy a quiet afternoon trip or a multi-day excursion with a several riverside campsites. Riverwood Canoe will set you up with what you need to make your trip a great summer memory.

4.Tube the Apple River (That’s right! You can tube without all the crowds) A family favorite that only locals know about is getting on the river with your own tube.Get to the river @ Random Drive and Hiway 65 and float for about 4 miles. Take your tubes out @ W. Church Rd. and 65. This route is quiet, peaceful and one of the best ways to relax on a hot summer day. Buy your own used or new tubes and fill up the cooler for a lazy three hour float.

5. Spend the Day at the Beach.

Can’t make it to the ocean this summer, that’s okay. We have a selection of excellent beaches and wonderful lakes. Osceola Landing, Interstate Park,  Round Lake, Sand Lake and Church Pine offer clean beaches for families to enjoy without the sharks. Grab a picnic lunch, unplug and soak up some sun.

6. Hike the new Cascade Falls/ Eagle Bluff/ Simenstad Trail Loop
The new loop is finished that connects 3 trails and gets you on a hike to Cascade Falls, the St. Croix River and up to Eagle Bluff all in one loop. First, head down the steps to Cascade Falls, then on to the new board walk and find the rustic path up to Eagle Bluff. It’s a vigorous hike 1.25 miles(40 min) along the creek, to the river,  into the woods and then up the bluffs through switchbacks that get you up to the most beautiful views of the St. Croix River Valley. Follow the pink flags.
7. Taste the new releases at Dancing Dragonfly Winery
Jig-a light, refreshing white wine, Bill's Bossa Nova-a premium vintage port,Boogaloo- their first rosé. Christine's Foxtrot- Christine's first reserve wine. Christine's CanCan- a dry, red reserve wine. Stop by on the weekend for live music, tastings and large outdoor patio.
